is Twitter dead? No, but It’s digging its own grave!

Twitter has decided to try to make harakiri.

As you know, this micro-blogging network has lots of problems:
you certainly have seen the “Twitter is over capacity” message at least once in your life!

twitter is over capacity

But… Today Twitter has been indeed over capacity:Twitter has lost 78% of friendships (”following” & “follower” functions)!!!

This problem has caused a wild protest of users, fomented by the viral power of the web 2.0!

And… What does Twitter staff do?!?

twitter is dead

But… users are too much furious and they threaten to unsubscribe.

A viral negative feedback has been spreaded: Will Twitter survive?

Facebook no longer for free? No way.

Going premium is a temptation for every community. Meetic and other dating sites have set the standard. After them, everyone have tried it at some point, and some of them came back recently with great satisfaction, NYT and Hot or Not being the most famous examples.

Now it seems the time of Facebook has come: according to an insider we talked to, Zuckenberg & Co. are evaluating a fee-based model. Call it premium or call it “freemium” (as marketers like to put it these days) things don’t change a bit.

Are you a Stumbleupon user?!?

I think you’ll like this post ;)

Some days ago, I was watching Stumbleupon’s toolbar for Firefox3 and I’ve noticed an interesting feature.

Stumbleupon favorite Bookmarks & tags
Now it’s possible to export and backup our own bookmarks & tags to a Firefox bookmark folder.
As you can see in this screenshot, you can choose if exclude (or not) mature content
[hide it to your mum :) ]

I think that this new feature is great!
what do you think about? I’m interested to your opinion!
