  1. I think it will absolutely suck if you have to get a touchscreen interface to use multi-touch. This could be accomplished with 2 mice.

  2. Can the business world wait for another technological failure? I don’t think so.

Keep sending the “pictures” we know hty’re just photoshop graphics banded together to build a lame buzz.

  3. Brian, are you stupid? Or joking. I am hoping you’re joking. Who would want to buy another mouse just to use the multi-touch? Stupid!

Those with tablet PC’s would be able to use it, duh!

  4. This scares me. I do not want to see pretty pictures of Windows. I want to know that Microsoft if going to make sure it works like it is supposed to before they try to make it pretty. Don’t be distracted by everything that glitters and shines.

  5. I own a Tablet PC: in 2 years I used it in tablet mode twice. Absolutely useless unless you are a doctor or some sort of road warrior

  9. my concern is how resource hungry it will be, I am a pc-tech and still have customers with machines that can’t handle more than windows 98, a lot of machines run XP and Vista is out of the question for most of my customers because they can’t afford the monster-hardware needed to run it. This raises the question about what hardware is needed to run Win7???? The poorer communities DO have a problem……

  10. Who cares about how pretty it looks? Vista looks pretty, as well, but it runs like a dog in the summer’s heat.

Give us specs about it. Let us know what sort of resources it needs, how it works, let us have the internal “screenshots”, if you will.

A few pictures of how it looks mean nothing, especially after the failure that is Vista.

  11. *stabs eyeballs with railroad spikes*

Do you not understand that touchscreens SUCK for long term interfaces?!

You’d become gorilla-armed in no time flat.

Do something that is more sane, and concentrate on functionality and not eye candy. PLEASE.
